What's Broadband?
Broadband is an always on high-speed internet connection at speeds far
greater then dial-up. It’s typically delivered as DSL (digital
subscriber line) or Cable, but in some areas it could be delivered to
you wirelessly. Alternatively; in areas with no terrestrial based
services there is two-way broadband satellite.

Will SkyLine work with my wireless connection?
Our IP telephone service will work over virtually any broadband internet network world
wide, regardless if it’s DSL, high-speed cable or a broadband wireless
connection. All you need to subscribe is having access to any of these
networks and either a telephone adaptor (provided by us) or our
softphone (download now) for your laptop or PC.

Will SkyLine work over Satellite Internet?
We understand that in certain areas of North American the only alternative to dial-up is
two-way satellite. We’ve worked closely with satellite providers to
enhance our IP Phone service to compensation for the delays in
satellite. Unfortunately; the inherent issues associated with satellite
internet connectivity may have an impact on call quality at varying times.

What's the Call Quality Like?
At SkyLine we are continually enhancing our service to provide the broadest
coverage areas, while providing the best Call quality possible. Our call
clarity is comparable to traditional landline and cellular services.
However; it’s important to note that your high-speed internet connection
speeds have an impact on service. The greater the bandwidth the better
your call experience, which is why we don't recommend using ultralite
service packages when subscribing to SkyLine.

Can I connect SkyLine to all of my telephone jacks?
Yes – If you have a demarcation jack (typically located where the telephone wires converge) simply
disconnect the cord from this jack and plug a cord from the telephone
adaptor to any other available jack in the house.
If you don’t
have a demarcation jack you will have to disconnect the main incoming
wires from the distribution block. Once complete; plug a cord from the
telephone adaptor to any other available jack in the house.
If
you want to utilize the jack where the telephone adaptor is plugged into
you will have to purchase a splitter.
An alternate solution would
be to connect a cordless telephone system that supports multiple
handsets to the telephone adaptor. See our products for various options.

Bundling my services to save money, why switch?
Bundling is a technique used by many organizations, including traditional cable
and telephone companies. In order to receive a savings on one service you’re required
to purchase one, two or even three additional services. Typically these agreements
require long term contracted commitments to obtain these savings.
SkyLine also offers
bundled packages for increased savings, yet we do not require you to sign any long
term contracts. Even our unbundled services are typically the same or lower then the
traditional cable and telephone companies, with many more features.
SkyLine saves the average person hundreds of dollars annually. In addition to; the features
and flexibility you can’t get with traditional cable and telephone companies.
